Why speakers and audio equipment are important?

Whether you are listening, watching or listening a music, speakers and audio equipment are important and has a big impact once you have the right equipment in your studio neither at home. Just imagine yourself in-front of your computer and that's how important is the speakers to experience the best audio  from your sound system.

My friend is a musician so he knows well about different kind of speakers that gives you  satisfaction. I'm just wondering if he bought like an  alto speakers at musicians friend. Maybe I have to ask him about it. In my own opinion it is better to ask the right person when choosing the right speakers. Remember your preference depends all the type and kinds of audio you want to play with.
