Savannah,Georgia-4 day family itinerary

We're all undecided where to go during Thanksgiving week considering our first plan was to go in Hawaii though we can't afford two big trips for a couple months after our  Disney Dream Vacation and hubby has 1 week vacation left so Hawaii is not a perfect timing for us.  My parents-in-law come down for Thanksgiving week to spent Thanksgiving day in our home. We asked them, if where they want to go and say they have never  been in Savannah, Georgia so we researched in internet what are the top things to do in Savannah,Georgia.

Savannah,Georgia was founded in 1733 by James Oglethorpe as the first settlement of the British colony of Georgia.Savannah is one of the top 10 Most Beautiful Places in America.

This trip is different from our vacation though my father-in-law can't walk longer because of his knee surgery and we have a child so all attractions we visited is more on sight seeing and tour.

   Savannah,Georgia-4 day family itinerary:

Day 1-Shopping-its not good if  my mother in law is around " shop till we drop" lol.
Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
           Colonial Park Cemetery

Day 2- Paula Deen Tour and Historic
            River Street Savannah
            Riverfront Plaza
            Roundhouse Railroad Museum

Day 3 :Tybee Beach
            Tybee Lighthouse and museum
            Fort Pulaski National Monument

Day 4 Forsyth Park
           Bunaventure Cemetery

As we stroll the Historic District we are  impressed in their   architectural  and still remember the "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" our guide tour told us something about this movie.

Please, stay tuned as I bring you in Savannah Georgia.

Stanchion is important in every business, airport, restaurant, hotel and more.Like for example in the airport, museums and aquarium it helps the crowd control during the long queue and maintain a clear boundaries of every traveler.

What is Stanchion? Stanchion is an upright consisting of a piece of  metal  used as a support.

There are different kind of stanchions, some are plastic, retractable belt, and conventional stanchions. The one that I've seen and popular one I know  is the retractable belt. Having a custom stanchions is important  in every businesses and create a safer environment of all the traveler or customer.

Through Technology makes Travel easier

Through Technology  makes travel easier? Do you agree?  Whether we like it or not today's technology makes our life easier and well-organized. Imagine yourself without technology. I speak for myself, the reason why I discovered some places is through technology and  social media and helps our planning where to travel next or it will pain in the ass.

I'm happy with all the technology innovation and one I saw that caught my interest through technology we gather information, research in one corner  and  learn more opportunities in our lives that we never have before.

Technology makes travel easier and simple  planning, we don't need to go out of our way, all we have is to be connected in wifi or have internet connection and all is done in one corner. This is only simple things but make a huge difference in our lives.

Junkanoo Cultural Tour at Bahamas

Junkanoo Cultural Tour at Bahamas is a cultural tour to experience the Bahamian culture. The museum was small but filled with lot of costumes and  rich in history. The tour guide and her husband explained   the history and go from room to room. The last room we went was the most interesting one, we were  had a chance to make our own mini float, have a sample of the most well known beverage and shown how to play the instruments like drums, cowbells and whistles from then we were all experienced the Junkanoo celebration right inside the museum.

Video is not allowed inside the museum but you can take a  lot of photos and we had a chance to wore some costumes but geez  its so heavy that  I don't like to move.As you know the costumes are made of cardboard or wood, crepe paper, tie wire,  and lots of glue.Imagine yourself wearing the costumes from headdress, shoulder piece and skirt  and then dance in a street.
Junkanoo have different theme and costume competition and whoever wins the costume's creation will be displayed in  Junkanoo museum.
Junkanoo is parade occurs in Nassau held on Boxing Day on December 26 and New Year's Day  from 2:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.
