If you are a musician you understand the importance of pro tools. Every musician wants to have their own pro tools. I have a friend who is in a band member and a lead singer and got himself a pro tools. His main reason is to save time and some bucks for recording and editing while you can control what you want and not just depend with others.
When you have taking software, study it. You may achieve so much more by simply figuring out your system within as well as what's available than what you would through.
