Wrapped up in Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner  and  everyone is busy wrapping  gifts for Christmas. As everyone knows that Christmas day is the most traditional holidays were all families are gather around to celebrate the "Spirit of Christmas" while others  prepare  food, stare at a decorated christmas tree and giving gifts.

As of now, I'm quite busy looking for a presents of my families here. My daughter is all set  for 12 days days of Christmas and my mother in-law as well. For my husband and father-in-law are the two guys that both handy and they're an engineer in my lives,i'm eyeing something in rubber edge seals.

We don't  have to forget that the "Spirit of Christmas" is  not giving a perfect gifts to our love ones but  sharing our time, gifts to those who are in need like charity and  attending mass. So don't worry too much about finding the perfect presents enjoy the "Spirit of Christmas" like a kid and don't forget to attend fellowship. The other things I've done last year was the Christmas tree of love-where we gave some gifts to some families/kids, we don't know them but I  buy all what they need and give it back to the church, so I'm planning to do this again.

If you ask me, what I want for Christmas, I'll be honest I don't need  any material thing, what I want is  the total healing for my father as he  suffered  kidney trouble for many years.

How about you? What do you want  for Christmas?

  2. Your intention and desire is so pure, I am sure that God will grant your wishes. Just like you, I don't really need any material things but would love to give some moolah to my family back home this Christmas because I know they need it more than me.

  3. I really want to be able to share my blessings to the less fortunate back home. Unfortunately, maybe not this year as finances are rather tight. However, I've already prepared my Christmas gift list for my family and friends and looking forward to fulfill their wishes as long as the budget permits.

As for me, I have my material desires but those are insignificant compared to the needs of other people. I guess, my Christmas wish is more on the intangible aspect of life. I wish for a better world for everyone, a world where there's peace and love, no hunger, no slavery, respect and compassion abound, nature is thriving and people are living to their full extent. It's very idealistic but there's no harm in wishing and PRAYING for them.
