Halloween at The Zoo

I can't believed it's September, where the summer goes? I remember where I was in Asia if it is September we're busy for Christmas Countdown but now I'm busy countdown  for many events including the Halloween. My daughter is so excited in halloween. Last year we went to the zoo events " Ghouls at Grassmere at Nashville".  I went with some couples friends with their child. It was filled  fun and enjoyment.

Some decorations at the Zoo

Before we went to the zoo we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Around past 4 we left in our house and went to the " Ghouls at Grassmere at Nashville" I love being with friends who shared the same interest.

The zoo was full and colorful. Kids are wearing their cutest costumes and some adults too. It was really a filled fun event with family and friends.

                                                               Monsterpiece Theatre

We did the Haunted Hayride when we arrived. We have had a chance to see when there is light and during the dark. The Haunted Hayride is not really scary but you'll amazed with all the decoration they did.
                                                                       Flamingo at Night

The monster lab was a scary a little bit. My daughter doesn't like and she hold her life with her Daddy.

Time flies  when you're having a good time so we did the Trick-or-Treat trail were the kids had so much fun and get some treats. After the trick-or-treat we headed home.

How about you? Do you have any plan on Halloween? Maybe will going somewhere this year? will see?

  1. Nice to hear that you had a great time. No plan for halloween. It makes me feel uneasy. I like the bright sides and remembering loved ones who died though.

  7. Halloween is in the air. Though we don't celebrate this event in our home, I am amused on how others celebrate this event in a very festive mood.

  15. The first time I experience Halloween in the US was during Hurricane Sandy when my family and I got stuck there in NY. The spirit of the trick or treating wasn't felt much because of the recent calamity.

I hope to be able to see more fun and excitement on our next visit. Hopefully, no more hurricane to follow as well. :)
